Jeremy McGuire, President
Jeremy has over 20 years of strategic and financing transaction experience. Prior to founding Craft Work Capital, he was a senior managing director with LS Power, a leading independent power producer, investor and developer focused on power generation, electric transmission and energy opportunities. He was also a member of the firm’s investment committee. Before joining LS Power, he was chief financial officer and chief accounting officer for Talen Energy, a competitive generation and retail energy company formed by a spinoff from PPL Corporation. While at PPL, he headed strategy and M&A. Prior to joining PPL, Jeremy was an investment banker for 13 years.
It was during his combined nine years with PPL and Talen that Jeremy became involved with the specialty contractor sector. PPL (and subsequently Talen) owned a portfolio of 11 contracting firms throughout the northeast.
Dave Orinski, Senior Vice President
Dave has more than 15 years of strategic, operational and financing experience. Prior to joining Craft Work Capital, he spent 11 years at PPL Corporation in its corporate development group and was an integral team member in establishing Talen Energy. At Talen, Dave led the strategic planning and M&A efforts for the company, and was a key member of the leadership team that managed the portfolio of mechanical contracting firms. He also served on the boards of the companies and helped with project evaluation, strategic planning, due diligence for growth opportunities and financial management. Dave is active in his local community and has sat on boards of non-profits and municipal commissions.
Bernie Zaritzky, Director
Bernie has over 13 years of total finance and operations experience across the banking and construction industries. Prior to joining Craft Work Capital, he worked for a regional residential home-building company leading its corporate financial planning and analysis function. In this role, he helped to evaluate new potential growth projects and performed entity level budgeting and forecasting and strategic cash flow management. Before transitioning to the construction sector, Bernie worked in investment management financial operations for two different international banks. Bernie earned an undergraduate degree in finance from University of Delaware and an MBA from Villanova University.
Ryan Poole, Associate
Ryan is an Associate at Craft Work Capital and is responsible for underwriting, due diligence, and portfolio management activities of the firm. Prior to joining Craft Work Capital in 2022, Ryan graduated with a Master’s of Science in Finance from Arizona State University. During his time as an undergraduate student Ryan was a member of the Division 1 Men’s Lacrosse Program at Providence College.
